Waterford - Hilda M. Hubert, 89, of Waterford, passed away at New London Rehab and Care Center on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
She was born in Groton, on Aug. 29, 1922. Hilda had worked for Sheffield Tubes, Donnelley's and was a supervisor for cafeteria workers at Connecticut College.
She is survived by a son, Bruce Hubert of Fishers Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Shirley Mattison of Colebrook, N.H.; grandchildren, Debbie Ulrich, Timothy McCabe and George Mattison; and three great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Hubert;a daughter, Lorraine McCabe; and eight brothers and sisters.
Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Turnpike, Uncasville. We will leave in procession at 12:30 p.m for a graveside service at Hilliard Cemetery.
