James F. Falcone Jr. Obituary
Mystic - James F. Falcone Jr. of Mystic, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Norwich, son of the late James Francis and Germaine Yvonne (Vandale) Falcone Sr. He attended Norwich Free Academy, class of 1951. He was a U.S. Navy veteran in the radio operator division, serving from 1952-1956. Mr. Falcone was employed by General Dynamics as a chief test engineer for 34 years.

He is survived by a son, Bruce W. Falcone of Mystic; his daughters, Megan A. Falcone of Mystic, and Candace V. Morell and her husband, Glenn Morell, of Hampton; a sister, Dale (Falcone) Gagliardo of Groton Long Point. He also leaves his grandchildren, Justin Falcone of Mystic, and Kaya and Jack Morell of Hampton; as well as a nephew, William B. Falcone and his wife, Katherine, and their two children, Amy and Alden of Noank; and a niece, Janice Gagliardo of Tarrytown, N.Y.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 815 Boswell Ave., Norwich.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to Center for Hospice Care Southeastern Connecticut, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.
