Fort Myers, Fla. - James W. "Big Jim" Arzamarski, 62, of Fort Myers, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Hope Hospice, Lehigh Acres, Fla.

Prior to his retirement, Jim worked for General Dynamics, Electric Boat division in Groton as a pipefitter/nuclear inspector for 40 years. "Big Jim" as he was so fondly called enjoyed NASCAR, The San Diego Chargers and volunteering for the Jimmy Fund.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda; daughters, Lisa (Todd) Atkinson of Groton, and Rachel Deeghan of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren; his mother, Mary Arzamarski of North Stonington; sisters, Lynne VanHouten, Jean Allison; brother, Gary Arzamarski; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Corliss; and brother, Steven.
Funeral services are private for the family.
