Mandy Riegert Obituary
She was born Jan. 24, 1976, in Portsmouth, N.H., the daughter of John and Judith (Joyce) Burke of Lowell, Mass. She was united in marriage to Michael Riegert on Dec. 28, 1996 in Lowell. Mr. Riegert survives her. She was a member of the Groton Heights Baptist Church and USS Dallas F.R.G.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by three sons, Michael A., Mark P. and Matthew J. Riegert, all at home. Three siblings, John "Rick" Burke, Shannon Legendre and Tracy Bland, all of Massachusetts.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, in Chelmsford Street Baptist Church, 524 Chelmsford St., Lowell, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Make A Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Place #201, Boston, MA 02114.
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London is assisting the family.

Remembering Mandy today, and how much she loved life and had such a positive outlook. Mandy left a lasting impression on so many, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family, husband Mike and those 3 beautiful boys Andrew, Mark and Matthew-- I am certain Mandy's beautiful spirit will live on through them.

John, Judy, Shannon, Tracy, Ricky,
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of the lovely Mandy. My memories of Mandy are my childhood...my life...and I will always remember her as a huge part of that. Through her ups and downs, Mandy was always smiling, laughing and so amazingly positive. I hope that Mandy's loving spirit will live on in all of you, and in her husband and children. I have many fond memories of her, and I can still remember the first day I met her as "the new girl" at school. I will always treasure the moments spent with her and Jamie, growing up together on Bowden Street. Words fail me right now, but please know that you are all in my thoughts.
My love and care are with you all at this difficult time in your life. Mandy had an amazing soul, and will truly be missed.

It was my pleasure to care for Mandy in the hospital during her final illness. She was a sweet, kind, and loving woman who will be missed by many.
