New London - Mary E. Huntsinger entered into an eternity of love and light with her husband, parents, siblings, and friends. There is a party going on in heaven and she's telling the jokes.
Born Nov. 7, 1930, in New London, she entered into a well deserved rest July 22, 2012, after a chronic illness surrounded by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ensign Harold Huntsinger and numerous relatives.
She is survived by her only child, Belinda Huntsinger-Gudmundsson; family members, Arlene and John Carta, Richard Konopko, Maureen Jello, Donna Abell; extended family members; and numerous very close friends, "after all friends are just family you get to choose along the way".
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at St. Mary's Cemetery, New London.
