Waterford - Mary Gladys (Pasko) Kruszewski, 78, of Quaker Hill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Maryjanna (Grabowska) Pasko, who emigrated from Poland. Mary moved to Connecticut in 1950. She was a 1952 graduate of Chapman Technical High School in New London. She was married to the late Andrew H. Kruszewski Sr. on Sept. 26, 1952. They had eight children. Mary worked at Sheffield Tube, Connecticut College, Burlington Coat Factory and Curves.
Mary, better known as "Mary, mother of eight" and "QVC Queen" had a love for humming birds, gardens, bingo, shopping on QVC, and traveling. She traveled with her children to different parts of the United States and to Poland in 1972. Mary was also involved with the Montville Senior Citizens.
Mary was a wonderful mother and is survived by her eight proud children and their significant others, Andrew H. Kruszewski Jr., Deborah Radachy and Dave, John Kruszewski and Cheryl, Donna Kruszewski Benson and Marc, William Kruszewski and Michele, Robert Kruszewski, Bruce Kruszewski and Katie, Patricia Rheaume and Walter. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason and Jessica Radachy, Jennifer (Radachy) Medina, Amy (Kruszewski) Selmer-Larsen, Christopher, Leslie, Timothy, Thomas, Jonathan, Danielle, Marah and Elizabeth Kruszewski, Joshua Bryant and Cora Rheaume; her great-grandchildren, Katherine, Allison and Madeline Radachy, Colton and Audrianna Medina, Oliver and Jaxson Selmer-Larsen, Owen, Lilith and Christian Hall. Mary is also survived by her sister, Irene Wozniak of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Stephanie Egger of Norwich; and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Walter and John Pasko, Edna Zugaj, Anna Pasko, Sophie O'Donnell, Lucille Cooper and Caroline Pasko (her twin sister); and many sisters and brothers in-law.
As per Mary's wishes, services will be private.
