New London - Paul Goldfracht, 93, of New London, husband of Hadassah (Saffian) Goldfracht, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side.

Mr. Goldfracht was born on May 31, 1919, in New York, N.Y., a son of the late Louis and Helen (Weitz) Goldfracht, and moved to Waterbury, where he resided for more than 20 years.
He then moved to Cheshire where he lived for 11 years. He had resided in New London for the past 15 years.
He was educated in the New York school system and was a graduate of college with a degree in aviation mechanics.
He was the owner and president of Reliable Factory Supply Co. in Waterbury, retiring in 2000.
Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves two daughters, Fay Maxen and her husband, Neal, of Waterbury, and Michelle Wrubel and her husband, Marc, of Waterbury; five grandchildren, Heather Maxen, Dana Maxen, Sarah Lang, Mike Wrubel and Matt Wrubel; three great-grandchildren, Willie Maxen, Kevin Maxen and Tyler Goodson; and one niece, Joan Goldfracht.
He was predeceased by a sister, Philomena Kaufman; and a brother, Isador Goldfracht.
A graveside service will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Farband Cemetery, Route 109, Morris.
The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave., is assisting the family with the arrangements.
