Pearl Pietrowski Obituary
Mrs. Pietrowski was born on June 24, 1926, in Henry County, Va., and was the tenth of 12 children born to George Elarce Massey and Jennie Lee Bryant. She was a resident of North Stonington for over 45 years and attended North Stonington Baptist Church. She was also a member of the North Stonington Grange and North Stonington Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Pietrowski, a decorated World War II veteran including the Purple Heart.
She is survived by her three daughters, Madeline Frances Balestracci with husband, Jeffery Alfonso, of Mystic, Victoria Lee Harrison of Woodbridge, Va., and Christine Ellen Burelle of Lebanon; a brother, Lonnie Massey of Axton, Va; eight grandchildren, Bruce Balestracci, Joseph Balestracci, Matthew Balestracci, and Andrea Burelle, all of Connecticut, Stephanie Harrison of Illinois, Jonathan Harrison of Florida, Jeffrey Harrison, and Melissa Harrison, both of Indiana; 14 great-grandchildren, Jack Balestracci, Richard Balestracci, Jeffery Balestracci, Shane Balestracci, Nicholas Balestracci, Grace Balestracci, and Bronson Balestracci, all of Connecticut, Connor Harrison and Sydney Harrison, both of Florida, Sean Harrison, Reghan Harrison, Kayleigh Harrison, Braiden Erath Harrison, and Addison Harrison, all of Indiana; and a great-great-granddaughter, Breana Balestracci of Connecticut.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m today, Aug. 2, at the Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, Mystic. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the North Stonington Baptist Church, 5 Rocky Hollow Road, by Pastor Timothy Gengarella with interment following the services at Elm Grove Cemetery, Route 27, Mystic.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.
I did not know her but knew of her through others who always spoke of her in very high esteem. She msut have been a special lady for she raised fine daugters whom I had the privilege of working with in high school.
I did not know Frances but I am sure she would have been a pleasure also.
May the good times that you have shared bond you together as you heal, and work through the next difficult process.

Aunt Pearl you will be sadly missed. The best memories will be of everyone at the Massey family reunion. You will be missed but you are in heaven dancing with Goldie and David Hankins. My , Aunt Pearl was a person who love you, A person who cares. A person who would listen when you was down and out. A person who share. We had days filled with laughter, and some days dimmed with our tears of the one's that has passed on. I have good memories of , Aunt Pearl cheristed down through the years. Love and Joy that grow deeper as the years passed. A bond that a niece has with an aunt. That is strong and a love that you could count on. That will last a whole life time long. My pray is , My God watch over your family and frieds until we all meet again in Heaven. I will miss you dearly my , Aunt Pearl .

I, remember Pearl as a soft spoken person and very honest and a very good christian. She lived a good life and very proud of her children. I, lived in N.S. for good many years and spoke with Pearl many times. Loved the grinders that she made in her store in their front yard. May she rest in peace. God bless her children until you meet again in heaven.
