I had been away on vacation and was so sad to hear about Shirley's passing when I returned. My grandson, dad and I spent many afternoons with her at Fairview. She was a lovely lady and a good friend to my dad. He is going to miss her very much.

Aunt Shirley, I have really fond memories of you from all through my childhood. In my adulthood you always made me laugh and I had some really fascinating conversations with you. I always loved hearing about your adventures and such. You were always a most interesting individual and really fun to talk with. Rest in peace, and God speed. Our condolences to Todd and Kathy. Our thoughts are with you.

Rest in peace, Aunt Shirley. I'll never forget all the fun I had at your house when I was young!! Always so exciting to go there and do arts and crafts, or swim in the pool, or watch all the fish in the tanks, and avoid Ming and Tawny!!!
