Voluntown - Rosemarie Coleman, 66, of Beachdale Road, Voluntown, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.

She was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Milwakee, Wis., daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Fosmore) Icke.

Mrs. Coleman was a bartender at Two Brothers Café in Voluntown. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW in Jewett City. She loved to cook and also loved Tweety Bird.

Besides her husband, Frederick Coleman, she is survived by two sons, Fred Coleman of Pawcatuck and James McEwen of Jewett City; a daughter, Roxanne Cisco of Wyoming; four sisters, Roslyn Graham, Rochelle Libby, Ruthann Story, and Roberta Murralo; three grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, and James; and a great-grandson, James.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Buster Buckmaster.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home, 490 Voluntown Road, Route 138, Jewett City. There will be a calling hour one hour before the service. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill CT 06375.
