I met your Dad at your birthday party and again another time around a holiday. He had a good sense of humor and I admired his strength and coping at the time. Hope you guys find peace in the fact that he is with the love of his life and at peace.

Your Dad was like his/our Dad, a man of few words, but those that he said came from the heart. He was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren and rightly so. I remember the Thanksgiving meals he would so aptly prepare when you lived in Hartford and when he got it all together and someone would ask "How do you do it?" he would reply with his dry wit, "nothing to it". We will all miss him very much but know he is now reunited with your Mom and I am sure they are happy once again. Debbie, thank you for the wonderful care and attention you gave your Dad. I am sorry my health will not permit me to attend the memorial service, but we will be there in spirit. Keep all the wonderful memories in your hearts.

I only met your dad once, Kathy *at your bd party* but he left me with an awesome memory of himself . When I was looking at pictures of your 'younger' dad, I told him how handsome he was. And he comes back with "And I still am!" We hope all the happy memories of your dad will help you and your family through this painful time in your lives. Love Ya! Barb, Tom, & Sarah
