Norwich - Cynthia (Feeney) Taylor, 51, of Norwich, passed into eternal peace on Friday, April 19, 2013, at Hartford Hospital, where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 11, 1963, in New London, the daughter of John Feeney of Noank, and Nancy Feeney of Quaker Hill. Cindy was employed for many years at the Otis Library in Norwich. Cindy loved nature, gardening, the beach, Cape Cod, baking, cooking, and reading. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Norwich.
On Oct. 5, 1998, she was married to Robert L. Taylor Jr., who survives her.
Besides her husband, parents, and stepmother, Honore Feeney, Cynthia is also survived by her son, Edwin Gibbons III of Quaker Hill; brothers, Dennis Feeney and his wife, Angelina, of Tennessee, Michael Feeney and fiancÃ©e, Teri Nofer, of Hebron, John Feeney Jr. of Quaker Hill, Aaron Shoemaker of Westerly; and sister, Mary Feeney and her partner, Raymond Williams, of Norwich. She also leaves behind brothers-in-law, John Stafford of Jewett City and William Taylor of Colchester; a sister-in law, Sue Perry of Bozrah; and nieces and nephews, Andrew Perry, Matthew Perry, Brianna Taylor, Christopher Taylor, John David Bishop, Brandy Williams, Dustyn Larsen, and William Senuta.
Family and friends may visit from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich.
