Old Saybrook - Christopher "Buck" Daniel Gulliksen, 55, formerly of Old Lyme, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at his residence.

Buck was born on Nov. 1, 1958, in Hartford, the son of Bradley Gulliksen and Gloria Freeman. He graduated Lyme-Old Lyme High School. He was employed for many years with McDonald and Sharpe Associates Inc. in Old Saybrook.
Buck was a craftsman who enjoyed crabbing, fishing, bottle collecting, the outdoors and NASCAR. Buck was adored and admired by all his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Buck is survived by his son, Julian Gulliksen; daughter, Jazmin Gulliksen; and their mother, Deborah Gulliksen, all of Old Saybrook; his mother, Gloria Freeman of Old Lyme; his sisters, Doreen Buckland of Ivoryton and Loria Stopa of Old Saybrook; brother, Bruce Buckland of Florida; nephews, Matthew Stopa and Timothy Buckland; and niece, Nicole Buckland.
He is predeceased by his father, Bradley.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Point-O-Woods Cemetery in South Lyme.
