Niantic - Helen W. Redding of Wethersfield, the widow of Thomas W. Redding Sr., died on Saturday, June 14, 2008.
She was born in Norwich and was the daughter of Edwin O. and Julia S. Williamson. She was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy, a communicant of St. Agnes Church, and a retired Supervisor of the Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Wethersfield.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Redding of Waterford; her grandchildren Ellen and Pasquale Chirichella of Niantic, James Redding of Waterford, Nancy Redding of Ga, Paul Redding of Niantic, Mary and Theodore Decyk of Scotland, Conn. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren Marco Chirichella of Niantic, Grant Decyk and Drew Decyk both of Scotland.
She was predeceased by her first and second grandsons Thomas Redding III and Mark Redding, her brothers Edwin, John, and Robert Williamson all of Norwich, Richard Williamson of East Hartford and her sister Gladys Chalmers of Windham.
The Procession will assemble at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic CT 06357 and will proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, Haigh Ave., Niantic. Burial will be held in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield at the convenience of the family.
