East Lyme - Kyle Michael Fedors, 29, of Boston Post Road, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, in Willington, the result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in New London, Nov. 26, 1980, the son of Michael and Donna Smith Fedors. He was a graduate of East Lyme High School class of 1999, and received his bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2006. He was most recently employed as a civil engineer for Karl Acimovic Engineering.
Kyle loved basketball from the time he was old enough to grasp a ball in his hands. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He loved all kinds of sports.
In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by a sister, Kirsten Fedors and her fiancé, Matt Staub, of East Lyme; grandmother, Phyllis Fedors of Mystic and grandparents, Allan and Shirley Smith of Jensen Beach, Fla. He is survived by aunts and uncles, Jeanne Fedors of Tempe, Ariz., Peter and Donna Fedors of North Stonington, Terry and Sandy Fedors of Ledyard, Kevin Fedors of Wrightsville, Pa., Karen Smith of Niantic, and Jeffrey and Debbie Smith of Port St. Lucie, Fla. He also leaves nine cousins and many very special friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Edward M. Fedors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Agnes Church, Haigh Ave., Niantic, followed by interment in West Neck Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic.
