Groton - Susan Louise Keeney Goodwin, 46, of 15 Valley Road in Groton passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.

She was born on Sept. 25, 1964, in New London, the daughter of Cherrie Morton Buscher of Orlando, Fla. and Charles Androw of Preston.
She grew up in Groton and attended Robert E. Fitch High School in Groton. Susan had worked for many years as a home healthcare provider in the southeastern Connecticut area and was also a member of the Mohegan Tribal Nation. Her name was Wondering Star. Susan loved to play bingo and go to the casino with her mother. She also loved Bon Jovi music and going dancing with her sister, Dawn.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sons, Steven Conary of Montville and Shaun Conary of Maine; a daughter, Shannon Rainey of Arkansas; a step-daughter, Tina Goodwin of Norwich; a sister, Dawn Keeney of Orlando; three grandchildren; her maternal grandfather, Matthew J. Morton of Groton; her paternal adoptive grandfather, Sidney Keeney Sr. of Groton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and ex-husbands, Ronald Goodwin and Steven Conary.
Susan was predeceased by her adoptive father, Sidney Keeney III, and both grandmothers.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Colonel Ledyard Cemetery, Groton. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St.
