Madison — Paul Brown Jr., 47, of Madison passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Paul was born on July 1, 1964, in Cumberland, Md., and had worked as a senior designer at Electric Boat in Groton, where he worked for over 27 years.
His survivors include his wife, Stacy, of Madison; his mother, Pamela K. (Hill) Urello and her husband, LCDR (Ret.) H. Patrick Urello, of Virginia Beach, Va.; his stepfather, Charles W. Johns, Tennessee; three children, Ian and Joshua of Madison, Stephanie of Canterbury; his four sisters, Jo Brown, Mystic, Katherine Galvin- Johns (Kathleen), Newington, Shannon Edwards (Keith) and Nikki Leavitt (Kevin) of Eliot, Maine; and his stepsister, Lori Morrissette (David), Canterbury; and eight nieces and nephews, Rachel, Sarah, Maggie, Faith, Matthew, Kyle, Lucas and Ryan; and longtime family member and friend, W. James Aguiar of Groton.
He was predeceased by a stepbrother, Christopher Urello.
The family will be greeting relatives and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St., Groton with a celebration of his life to be held at 4 p.m.
