North Andover, Mass. - Rev. Craig "Scott" N. Raeburn, 74, of North Andover, Mass., passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

Scott was born, raised, and educated in Waterbury. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and went on to graduate from Hartford Seminary. Early in his career he served in Glastonbury at Buckingham Congregational Church for over 10 years. He went on to serve the community of Norwich at Taftville Congregational Church and then in New London at the Second Congregational Church, prior to his retirement. Most recently, Rev. Raeburn returned to serve as interim pastor at Forest Street Church in Methuen, Mass., prior to his final retirement in August of 2011. He was recently attending West Parish Church in Andover, Mass. Over the course of his career, he was a devoted volunteer with various hospice organizations.
Scott was predeceased by his wife, Joy E. (Reese) Raeburn; a daughter, Traci McNulty; and a sister, Patricia Peterson.
He leaves his sons, Craig N. Raeburn Jr. and his wife, Maura, of Farmington and Geoff Baron of Niantic; a son-in-law, Joseph McNulty of Andover; eight grandchildren, Rose, Dylan, and Cody Raeburn, Nicholas, Adam, and Lillian McNulty, and Gill and Katie Baron.
Friends are invited to call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at West Parish Church, Andover, Mass. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church. Cremation will follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, Mass.
