Stonington - Nicholette Faillace, 95, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at her daughter's home in Stonington.|
She was born in Westerly, and was a retired timekeeper of Bostitch, Division of Textron in East Greenwich, R.I. She was an honorary member and twice past president of the VFW in Pawcatuck, and always helped with the blood drives and fundraisers before she became ill.
She volunteered at the Westerly Senior Center up until the age of 90, contributed her knitted hats to their fundraisers, and also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella at St. Michael's Church in Pawcatuck.
Including herself, Nicholette came from a family of ten brothers and sisters, five half brothers and sisters, and two step brothers, of which ten predeceased her.
Besides her daughter, Maryann Adamson, she left behind four grandchildren, Jeff Adamson and his wife, Jen Adamson, Jeremy Adamson, Kelly Muscat and her husband, Scott, Justin Adamson; and seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, and Mason Muscat, Peyton, Zachary, Nicholas, and Haley Adamson.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary's Church, 95 Main St., Stonington, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at the church. Burial will be private.
