Jim is survived by his son, John W. "Jack" Lane; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jim was predeceased by Ruby, his loving wife of 62 years; and his sons, James P. Doyle Jr., and David A. Lane.

Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Oakdale. Burial will follow at the Middletown Veterans Cemetery.
