Zachary Greenough Obituary
Zach was born in New London, the son of the late Paul Greenough, and made his home in Uncasville with his aunt and uncle, Debra and Kenneth Hvarre Sr.
Zach was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Iraq War. Zachary loved fishing, had a warm sense of humor with a special ability to make everyone laugh.
He leaves behind his sister, Lindsay Shea of Oakdale; three stepsiblings, Kenneth Hvarre of Pawcatuck, and Hannah Hurst and Ruth Hvarre, both of Norwich; two additional aunts, Judy Smith of Portland and Jill DeClerck of Ledyard; his paternal grandfather, Roger Greenough of Ozello, Fla.; great-grandmother, Marguerite Tee of Lecanto, Fla.; and mother, Heather Stockwell of Virginia. In addition he leaves half-siblings, Joshua, Patrick and Stephanie; as well as many cousins who loved him dearly.
Visiting hours are omitted. A celebration of Zach's Life will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Lakes Pond Baptist Church, 1114 Hartford Tpke., Waterford. Burial was held privately.
Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, is in charge of the arrangements.

Zachary, I haven't seen you since you were 3 yrs old. I'm your auntie Lori Heilman, your mother's sister. Your mother and I still talk about you everyday, as we have for years. You have always been so loved, I remember your sweet face and how loving you were. I'm so sorry honey. I know you're at peace now. Love you forever.
