Henry Finch Obituary

Henry Joseph Finch, 85, of Cathedral City, Calif., passed away on September 5, 2010 in Loma Linda, Calif. He was born August 16, 1925 to Henry G. and Cleora Finch in Duluth, Minn. He married June Heikkila on September 18, 1951 in Duluth, Minn. He was a Resort owner for 60 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. He served in the Army Air Corps from October 22, 1943 to April 4, 1946 as a Cadet. He is survived by his wife, June Finch of Cathedral City, Calif.; daughter, Jolene Finch and son, Anthony Finch both of Cathedral City, Calif.; sisters, Mary (Raymond) Rawlings of Cathedral City, Calif. and Theresa (Sylvester) Ross of Goodyear, Ariz.; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., September 14, 2010 at Forest Lawn Mortuary, Cathedral City, Calif. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., September 15, 2010 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Cathedral City, Calif. with interment to follow at Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City, Calif. The family suggests that donations be made to Loma Linda V.A. Hospital. Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries
