Dad,
When Jim listens to music he always thinks of you and we talk about whether you would like it or not. He misses sharing the music with you. It is one of the things he misses most since you've been gone.
Love,
Jim and Nancy

Hi, I am Bill Gaches (son of Clarence "Bill" Gaches and Jean Ward Gaches of Pittsburgh.) I am also an alum of Westminster College. Live now in Annapolis MD. Just saw this and to Don's family (who I never met!), I pass on my condolences. My Dad passed away in 1982, but always spoke fondly of Don & Betty.

It has been over a year now that you've been gone Dad and it is as if you are right here. I bought a horse. A naughty one and he knocked me down in the pasture and dragged me for a bit until I heard you yelling "LET GO"!!!!I miss you soooo much!!! I feel you and Mom both with me at all different time during the day.

Don and Betty were the best. My parents were blissed to have such great neighbors. I loved the times when Don, Thad Roberts and my dad would come up with their "special" athletic teams. And the music those guys listened to was fantastic. I will never forget those times nor the people. Mr. and Mrs G were never forgotten and will always been remembered. Thanks for the memories....

My dog, Buck and I visited Mr. Gaches every Friday. It was always very special to see Buck spend so much time with Mr. Gaches. I could tell from the comfort he got from Buck that he was a gentle and kind man. I'm so lucky to have been able to bring some comfort into his day with Buck and so lucky to have been able to take our own comfort from him as well. You will be missed Mr. Gaches.

My Dad was always there. He was my best buddy and always gave me the right advice to live well and make correct decisions in life. I've missed him for a long time. Meg and I love you Dad and she still talks about your ham sandwiches you made for her.
Hugs and Godspeed.
