Allan, I can't believeyou are gone. We had one more trip. Your were an amazing fisherman who taught my girls and I so much. You will be missed. You always took time to check our all the poles and make sure that everyone was set up right. That last trip was just not the same with our you. We miss you. Our lives are better because of him.

It seems like another life... In 1980 knowing Alan was fun. He introduced me to the Bay Leaf trees past tower one and was the best fisherman on the trams deep sea trip out of San Diego. He was always in a good humour and was a great trainer. I still have his left hand scribbling on my socket wrenches from when we worked together. God speed to Alan... It was a wonderful trip all the way to the top...
