Barbara Asher Obituary

Barbara Asher passed away on June 12, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, a tribute to her courage, determination and compassionate nature. Daughter of Charles and Fannie Sommer; wife of Harold Asher; mother of son, Darryl Asher and daughter, Dana Asher; "Grammy" was cherished by her five grandchildren, Matthew, Dillon, Samantha, Casey, and Corey. Sister to Marsha Jacobs and Harry Sommer and loved completely by Bijou, Misha, and Daisy … she was Auntie Barbara to everybody. Barbara and Harold were married for over 51 years and their family was their life. They went through life hand in hand together as one. There will never be another Barbara, Mom, Grammy, or Honey like her. She was cherished by all who keep her loving memory in their hearts forever. A service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2001 at Hillside Memorial Park (800) 576-1994.
