My sincere condolences to the McIntosh Family. I too recall sitting at the McIntosh Pharmacy fountain looking up at the pictures of our handsome Arab football team. When I graduated from CVUHS in 1961 I went to work as a switchboard operator at Calif. Water & Telephone Co. (as it was known in those days). Becky was our Chief Operator. She was such a beautiful lady and taught us wonderful work ethics.
God bless her and her whole family.

My condolences to the McIntosh Family. I also used to go to McIntosh Pharmacy but would get cherry cokes. During high school and college breaks I would work at the Pharmacy, deliver prescriptions and later at the liquor stores. I knew Tom and would always kid around with Sherman, "Mr Mac" we would call him. My heart goes out to the family because I just lost my father also.

My condolences to the family. Another pioneer gone. McIntosh Pharmacy seemed to be where we all gathered at the counter for cherry 7-Ups.......and to look at the pictures of the high school football players hanging on the wall. Great memories.

My condolences to the family. The McIntosh's go back such a long way. We lived across from Linda & Doug for many years and, of course, I spent every break that I got from Yellow Mart at either McIntosh Pharmacy lunch counter or Budge MacAllister's shoe store (well, many visits, also, to The Clothes Line!!)! Those truly were the days! God speed, Bessie, and I'm so glad you are there to look out for us all! Most sincerely,
Donna McIntosh

Everyone call her Becky. I called her "The Beck". She was an interesting character and we had several things in common. We both are the middle children of 5 kids; both our parents were very strict and we both married into the McIntosh Klan! She was my mother-in-law. And she was a good one! I could go to her and talk freely about almost any topic and she would always listen and share her experience and knowledge. She only lived two doors down, so we'd have her over for dinner several times to enjoy her company! She will be missed by her family who loved her very much! But, I believe she is in the best place possible now . . . heaven!
