Charels Edmon Barber, 78, of North Shore, Calif. died May 16, 2013 of heart failure. He was born July 14, 1934 to Frank and Ethyl Barber in Oklahoma. He married Maria on February 19, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the owner of Omega Services for 22 years. He was a member of BPOE. He is survived by daughter Karen Garcia of Indio and Chris MacDavid of Las Vegas, Nev., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons; Thomas Kelly Herrera and Terry Barber. A hard worker to the end was the life of this man, who grew up in this valley. We as the family thank him for all of the wonderful memories he gave us, as well as all the love and support to be the people we are today. Knowing one day we will see you again is what gets us through this hard time. We love you Papa.
