Charles Johnson

1937 - 2010

Chuck, 73, of Palm Desert, Calif. passed away peacefully on the morning of November 23, 2010 after several years of illness. He was born on April 12, 1937 in Connersville, Ind. to John and Margaret Johnson with brothers, Jim and Gary. Chuck was a developer and builder in Southern California for many years and began his career in the Electrical Union in Riverside. Always a fun guy to be with, he was full of an endless supply of humor. Chuck lived life to the fullest with his friends and family always close by. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed flying and deal making in the early years of the deserts development. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Norma Jean Johnson; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Laurie Johnson; granddaughter, Renee (Bryan) Wolter; grandson, Matt Johnson; and great-grandson, Gage Johnson. Chuck's love for God and his people touched all our lives and we're glad to have been apart of his life. He will be deeply missed by us all and his memory will be with us for the rest of our lives.
