Constancia Gonzales Obituary

February 6, 1913 - Sept. 27, 2010 Constancia Duran Gonzales was born on February 6, 1913 and went peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 27, 2010, at the age of 97 years old. Constance was born in Pierce, Ariz. and later moved to Coachella, Calif. with her family. She married Jesus Gonzales and had four children from this union. They both owned and operated a truck driving business and a restaurant. She left the Valley to live in Fresno, Calif. and later returned to Indio to live her remaining years with her family. Constancia loved Mexican music and dancing. She also enjoyed watching her favorite T.V. shows. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a quiet woman but when she spoke she had much goodness and wisdom. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation is scheduled from 4-9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Casillas Family Funeral Home, Coachella, Calif. Mass is at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Soledad in Coachella. Burial will follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery.
