Dee Coursey Obituary

Dee Coursey passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at his home in Palm Springs, Calif. He was 76 years old. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was in the food and beverage business for 46 years in Reno, Las Vegas, North County of San Diego, and last, at the well known Leon's of Palm Springs before retiring five years ago. Known for his joke telling, he was an all around great guy! He will be missed. Dee is survived by the love of his life, Marilyn, his wife of 31 years; his son, Dee Coursey; daughter, Debie Corbit and her husband Rod; stepsons, Forrest Tripp and his wife Kim and Diamond Tripp and his wife Leesha; stepdaughter, Cydney Shaughnessy; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Norma Hise. A champagne toast to Dee will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Leon's South in Palm Springs.

Marilyn and Family. I was so sorry to see Dee's picture in the paper. My heart and prayers go out to you.I told Jay-Jay (12-16-2007)to show him all the good places in Heaven to watch over us.
