Edward J. Creske, 86, founder and CEO of Wausau Tile and Imperial Industries, died suddenly October 2, 2013, at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. He learned the terrazzo trade by traveling from Illinois to New York working on large commercial projects. With countless hours of hard work, good decisions, dedicated employees and a bit of luck this company evolved into the Wausau Tile and Imperial Industries of today. Work was his passion, which he enjoyed until his last day. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Ed was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where he served as an usher, board member and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
