I was alittle scared the first time I met Ed. I lived down the street from him for a few years and had always heard, he was loud and crazy. Well he was. But after I got to know him, the only thing that was scary was his driving. Never liked 4wheeling, Ed insisted I drive out at the Iron Door. I didnt want to go up one of the hills and he said, " Just gun it" So I did. Ed was sitting in a lawn chair in between the seats and once I got to the top, all I could see was the bottom of his shoes. That was the first and last time I have went 4wheeling. One of the greatest laughs of my life. My thoughts and prayers to Melanie and Micheal. Your dad was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed.

To Melaine and Michael
Sorry to hear about Uncle Edwin.
Just a few things that I remember, when we would come out to the house your Dad would always let's have fun and be kids even if we toils be getting into trouble, like trying to start the old truck on the side of house or when your Dad took the engine out of the Corvette and but into the sand rail he built, then Uncle Kit and Edwin caught it on fire. Also always enjoyed the time when he had the Kawasaki Shop in North Indio, spending time there also.
Cameron and I always enjoyed those time.
Sorry for the lose of your Dad, remember to always enjoy your kids and Grandkids because they can make times like these more enjoyable to have a good relationship with them.

Good ole Uncle Ed.....his presence will be missed in Cherry Valley not only by my family but by the many he cared for and kept a watchful eye over. He was a good, sometimes misunderstood, man with a good heart. He will be missed........
