Evelyn Williams Obituary

Evelyn Williams, 93, passed away on August 6, 2010 in Peoria, Arizona. She was born in Minnesota to L.M. and Jessie Larsen on October 15, 1916. She graduated from Beaver Creek High School and St. Cloud State Teacher's College in Minn. Evelyn taught in Minn., Oregon and many years in Cathedral City Elementary School before retiring in 1970. She was a long time member of Cathedral City Community Church before moving to Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Perry Williams (former owner of Williams Radio and TV in Cathedral City), son Bill and sisters Hellen, Astre and Catherine. She is survived by sons Norman (Lucille), Robert, Richard (Sandra), daughter-in-law Irene, brother Norman Larsen (Charlotte), and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, Calif at 10:30AM on October 16.
