Dear Jean:
I will always and forever think of all the many years you and my family were together in the desert. You are especially near and dear to me for the support you provided me and my sisters when my mother, Pat, became ill and died in 1994. I can only hope that you are both together now in heaven catching up on old times. We will miss you terribly.

I had to make in the 56 years we were friends....We use to travel together ......Jean had a remarkable ability to make and keep friends. I could always count on Jean for good advice. One of the first people I met when I joined AAUW here in the desert was Jean. We were in the -now defunct--Play Readers group and she was always so much fun! After she moved to Carlotta (?) I continued to see her at AAUW parties. I shall miss her.
