Marilyn Avantini Obituary

Marilyn Avantini, 77, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Yucaipa, Calif. She was born November 8, 1933 and was a graduate of both Utica College and Syracuse University with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology. Marilyn loved her family and friends while holding a special place in her heart for her many grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Deanna Wolschlag of Springfield, Ill., John and Dara Oertel of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Carmine and Sandy Avantini of Fenton, Mich., Jamie and Erin Avantini of Vancouver, B.C.; and grandchildren, Robert, Joshua, Jordan, Jaime, Ryan, Sara, Andrew, Krista, Craig, Brandon, Jennifer, Bethany, Nathan and Shawn. Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter, Dawn Manseau of Yucca Valley, Calif. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on January 8, 2010 at Family Bible Church, 14200 Mountain View Rd.
