Bielik Marr and Michael Marr, of Palm Desert, California; Nicholas S. Bielik and his wife Eileen Hunter of Long Beach, California; and his sister Barbara Fuhlage of Simi Valley, California. He graduated from the Jesuit University of Scranton in 1959 and spent his career working in the defense industry; he ended his career as the Vice President of Operations at Armtec, in Coachella Valley, in 1998. Nicholas's pride and joy was his family; he was a devoted husband and father. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and was an avid reader but his favorite pastime was spending time with his pal Shadow, a Standard Poodle. Nicholas was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Lynn Bielik, age seven, in 1971, his brother James Bielik in 2010 and his parents. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on October 22, 2013 at 11a.m. held at Sacred Heart Church: 43-775 Deep Canyon Road, Palm Desert, Calif. They are also invited to join the family for a luncheon at 1 p.m. held at the Agua Caliente Resort and Spa: Star One Salon, 32-250 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to their favorite charity.
