Paul V. Wicorek

Paul Victor Wicorek, 82, of Palm Desert, Calif. died September 10, 2010. He was born October 3, 1927 to Paul and Minnie Wicorek in Staunton, Ill. Paul served in the U.S. Navy from October 1945 through October 1948 as an Aerographer's 2nd mate. He then married Helen Driscoll on October 9, 1948 in Long Beach, Calif. He was an advertising salesman for over 40 years and was a member of Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus. Paul is survived by his partner, Zella Elin; daughter, GiGi Hammond of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sons, Ed Wicorek of Seal Beach, Calif. and Dan Wicorek of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Helen Wicorek, Lois Wicorek and Irene Wicorek. Memorial services will take place at 1:30 PM on September 24, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert.
