Ramona Nieto Obituary

Ramona Orona Nieto, 79, or Thermal, Calif. passed away October 2, 2010 in Thermal. She was born April 30, 1931 to Pablo and Secundina Saenz in Sugar City, Colo. Ramona married Richard W. Nieto on April 30, 1955 in Coachella, Calif. She was an Instructional Aide for the CVUSD for 25 years. Ramona is survived by her husband, Richard W. Nieto of Thermal; daughter, Rosemary Garcia of Indio, Calif.; sons, Richard P. Nieto of Thermal, Rudy Nieto of Thermal, and Robert Nieto of Indio Hills, Calif.; sister, Rosalia Rodriguez of Yucaipa, Calif.; and brother, Francisco Saenz of Montclair, Calif. In addition, she is also survived by ten grand-children and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12-1:00 PM on October 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Soledad Church in Coachella. Services will follow at 1:00 PM with burial taking place after the mass at the Coachella Valley Cemetery.
