To Gomez Family.
There are no words to express the sorrow for the loss of Richard. It was a honor to have known such a free sprited person such as Rich and i will always have fond memories of hanging out with Rich and Larry and his compa at his moms house even though i moved away from the valley 11yrs ago i still concider the Gomez Family as my second family. I will miss Rich for his sense of humor and his laughter and stories about him on the road with his bike. God bless you all and have heart the Rich is in a better place and in gods hands because i know Rich is up there looking down at us while taking a sip of tequila. Take care and God bless

Tio Richie,
You will be missed. Yet your spirit and utmost memories of my childhood as well as adult hood will linger on forever! Truely a person who accepted and enveloped me and my "loved one". Never to judge or look down upon others. To a MAN who walked this earth with pride, posture and utmost confidence to stand for who and what he believed in - FREEDOM OF CHOICE, LOVE AND SPIRIT! Oh how he "lived" his life!!!
Yes! on the homemade tortillas!
Yes! on the homemade "Chicken Coop Soup"
And "OH YES ON THE PARKED HOG" in grandmas living room!
But we musn't forget the 'TIO RICHIE TICKLE" which I know just about all of us experienced.
You will be missed, yet your memory of a "GREAT TIO" will live on forever.
It is your time to reunite with your Parents, Siblings and Children, who have passed before you!
Our heart felt sympothy to "all" of Tio Richard's legacy and survivors (Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and all those who made it happen). Your loving Nieces - Mary (Margie) & Pat G.

My fondest memory of my Tio Richard is when he would go to grandma's for lunch. Grandma would cook her famous caldo using FRESH chicken (from the chicken coup)...lol! He would pinch me and bite my sister Marina...mmm I wonder why. I remember him being spoiled by grandma. That was her baby boy. When grandma’s house smelled like homemade tortillas we knew who was coming. He had the privilege of parking his motorcycle in the living room. It was hands off to ALL of us…by grandma. As for my mom (Esther), who took on that role, she loved him dearly and loved his kids as if they were her own. I have precious thoughts of mom when she sang “their childhood song” to him when he was in the hospital. He was able to look up at her and enjoyed this with a smile. Tio I will always have you in my heart and will treasure these memories forever! I Love you!! Pooh Bear.
We love n will truly miss u Tio Richard!!
