Robert Jones Obituary
Desert, Calif. passed away on September 20, 2010 after a long illness. Bob was born in Tarentum, Penn. on
November 11, 1936. He graduated from Tarentum H.S., received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Youngstown University, Youngstown, Ohio and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob's career as Hospital Administrator in Michigan and Southern California hospitals spanned many years. He served on
several community and health care related committees and boards throughout his life. He moved to Palm Desert in 1989 and opened a business in La Quinta, Calif. with his wife, Joy; they retired in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Joy; children, Mark Jones, CSM Michael Cooke and his wife Arlys, Cathy Cooke, Judi Cooke Creech; grand-children, Mackenzie Lynne Hannan Cooke, Andrew, Blair, Aaron and Natalie Jones, and Ryan, Logan, Liz, and Taylor Cooke.
At Bob's request, there will be no service and he requested that any donations be made to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, 47518 Van Buren St., Indio, CA 92202-2564.

Oh Joy, I am so truly sorry for your loss! Bob was a wonderful friend to Dale. I'm so glad I got to spend a little time with him at get togethers. He was always so pleasant and helpful!! Take care of yourself!!
