Sandra Hughes-Donia Obituary

Sandra Hughes-Donia, 65, of Bermuda Dunes, Calif. passed away September 24, 2010 after a battle with cancer. She was born November 10, 1944 to Joe and Dorothy Penner in Inglewood, Calif. Sandra was a real estate agent with Bermuda Dunes Realty. She was President of the Republican Women of Rancho Mirage and a volunteer at Mecca school and Lincoln club.
Sandra is survived by daughter, Lisa Duffy and husband, James; grandchildren, Jordan and Josie; sisters, Linda Callella-Guzman and Jana Packard; and brother, Jeff Penner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Donia.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on November 8, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Mecca Elementary School, 65250 Coahuilla St, Mecca, CA 92254-6602, attn: Miss Morales 1st grade class.
