Thomas Rawson

Thomas Rawson, 82, of Palm Desert, Calif. passed away on Sept. 14, 2010. Tom was born October 29, 1927 in Los Angeles, Calif. Tom retired from General Motors after 30 plus years. He was a lifetime member of the Men's Golf Club at Palm Desert Greens Country Club. He was a member of Desert Springs Church in Palm Desert. He served in the United States Navy during World War II seeing duty in the Pacific. Tom was also a third generation member of Free and Accepted Masons of California, Reseda Lodge, Northridge. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeane; sons, Steve and wife Peggy of Frazier Park, Calif., Bill and wife Lisa of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Lissette Finneman of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Linda "Frosty" Frost of Palm Desert, Calif.; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many, many friends. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at Palm Desert Greens Country Club on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
