Uncle Virgil was the most kind, gentle, loving soft spoken man I have known. I have very fond memories spending time at his home as a child. he was very musically talented. A man inspired by God. you will be missed. love, Melba Hampton Grisham

My family, As one of Virgil`s son in laws, I had a deep love and respect for the man I called dad. I know he will be missed by all those who were touched by his life, and I hope many more are touched with rememberances after his passing. Love to all the family, ED and Mary Stephens

What a blessed family you are to have had such a wonderful man in your lives. I know he has been such a blessing to me. When my Daddy past away a year ago, Virgil let me know that I didn't lose my Daddy, because when you lose something you don't know where it is at......I know where my Daddy & Virgil are at (thank you Virgil). I love you up to the sky & back!!!
