Frankie Agostinelli, 77, passed from this world to eternal peace on his birthday, September 1, 2013. It is with saddened hearts that we announce his passing. Frankie was born to Mary & Nicholas Agostinelli on Sept. 1, 1936 in Montana. At a young age, his family moved to the Seattle area, where he attended school. During junior college, he was called to active duty serving in the Korean War. He worked in San Diego, Las Vegas, and the last forty years in Palm Springs. He worked in real estate, car sales and tended bar. Frankie loved to play golf with his buddies until his health would no longer permit him to play. He fought his leukemia with a vengeance and maintained a strong spirit until the end. Frankie is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne. His dear sister, Marie, his brother, Ron and daughter, Lisa along with several nieces and nephews and an extended step family also survive him. A private family gathering was held at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana. Frankie has been interred in a crypt at this location. A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion in Palm Springs at a later date.
