Floy Mainer Vance, formerly of Bryan passed away September 6, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia.

A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, in the Heritage Room of First United Methodist Church in Bryan.

She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and Neighborly Sunday School Class, serving on various committees and Caring Ministries. Before moving to Atlanta, Floy was recognized with an award for 50 years of service and membership in the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Fannie Lou and husband, Roger Butler, of Atlanta; her son, Tom Mainer and wife Claudette, of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren,
