Ruth Grimaila Obituary
Ruth Helen (Parzych) Grimaila, 81, of Centerville, Ohio formerly of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. As per her wishes, no services are planned.
Born June 18, 1932 the third of four children to Joseph and Anna Parzych of New Britain, Connecticut. She married Raymond M. Grimaila from New Britain, Connecticut in 1954 and raised three sons. Over the years, the family lived in New Britain, Middletown, and Portland Connecticut; and Bryan Texas.
After her husband's death, she moved with her son Michael and his family to Centerville, Ohio. Ruth was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, and making trips to the casino with her son Michael where she enjoyed good luck. Ruth was known for her positive attitude, enjoying spending time with her friends, and keeping close contact with her childhood friends from New Britain.
Ruth, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, we all miss you. You were always so loving and caring. You are in God's care now and at peace in his loving arms.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Grimaila; her sister, Marion Lastauskas; and brother, Joseph Parzych.
Survivors include her sons, Robert & Patricia Grimaila of Omaha, Nebraska, Raymond & wife Janet Grimaila, and daughter Zoe of Raleigh, N.C., Michael & wife Shannon Grimaila and daughter Rhiannon of Centerville, Ohio; brother, Richard Grimaila & Patricia Parzych of Colchester, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

very sorry to hear about your mother, I know she will be missed. You don't find many children that would take as good care as you and Shannon did. You spent each moment keeping her happy .
