Bobbie Glidewell Obituary
Bobbie Nell Holcomb Glidewell, 82, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Graveside service is set for 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at Gladewater Cemetery, with Bro. Glenn Griffith officiating.
Bobbie was born July 4, 1928, in Titus County, Texas to Grover Cleveland Holcomb and Dora Brown Holcomb. She was employed with Mount Pleasant ISD.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, James C. Glidewell.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Connie Glidewell of Cooks Point, Texas; son, Mark Glidewell of Bryan; granddaughter, Lorin Glidewell of Dallas; grandsons, Peter Glidewell of Bryan, Frank Glidewell of Hutto, Texas, Lee Glidewell of Bryan and Brian Glidewell of Cooks Point.

I have many fond memories of the Glidewell family.Through good and bad she always treated me like her own. Even though I am not physically there just know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
