Paul Kupec, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, May 25, 2011 at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Paul was born in West, Texas and raised in the Houston Heights area. He was a veteran of WWII and a proud graduate of Rice University. He married Donisse in 1954, and they made their home in Baytown, Texas.

Paul was an optimistic, generous man and a confirmed Christian. He made new friends easily and cherished the ones from the past. He deeply loved his family and provided for them in the old school manner.

In short, Paul was a good man in every sense of that word and he was blessed with a wonderful family and a good life.

He is with now with Jesus but we will see him again at that great reunion of believers. In the mean time, he will be missed and long remembered.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Donisse Downing Kupec; his daughter, Marijane Mosley and her husband, Danny; his grandson, David R. Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Patricia. He is also survived by numerous friends and relatives.
