Nancy "Grammy" Jeanette Cashion Brannen, 63, died April 20,2012 in Bryan, Texas.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen Louise Cashion and Moses Edward Cashion Jr.; her son-in-law, Christopher J. Veeck; and granddaughter, Katherine Ann Veeck.
She is survived by her husband, Walter C. Brannen, Jr.; her children, Susan Hewitt, Ann-Marie Veeck and husband Bradley Sternberg; her brother, Robert Cashion; grandchildren, Patrick R. Veeck, Adam, Vanessa I. Soltero, Gabrielle H. Saldana, and Nicholas Hewitt; and nieces, Melinda and Amy.
Little Did We Know
Little did we know that morning that God would call your name.
In life we love you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For Part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always on our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
She is loved and missed by many friends and extended family and has touched the lives of all who crossed her path.
May your journey be swift as you return to the arms of the Lord.
