Linda Diane Perry
December 29, 1955 – April 28, 2012

Linda Diane Perry, 56, of Bryan, passed away after a 6-year long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Linda was born December 29, 1955 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Wesley Grable and Darlene Caldwell. Linda and Larry, her husband of 39 years, were high school sweethearts. Linda worked for GTE for 18 years as an Operator, then as a Customer Service Representive. After a short stint as a Letter Carrier for the USPS, she worked for 12 years as a administrative assistant in various Departments at Texas A&M University. She loved to needlepoint and crochet, and was always creating quilts, caps or scarf's which she loved to give to family and friends. She also took pleasure in gardening. Linda, most of all, enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and will be missed by numerous family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Allen Leroy Grable.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Perry of Bryan; sons, Carl Richard Perry of Bryan, Jarrid Jason and wife Michelle Perry of Huntsville; friend, Kelli Perry of Bryan; daughter, Trinity Lynn Perry and husband Nicholas Grossman of College Park, Md.; grandchildren, Haley Perry, Jackie Burton Perry II, and Skyler Marine Perry all of Bryan; Emma Kay Perry, Addison Perry, and Colby Jason Perry all of Huntsville; Aramay Isabella Grossman, Thaerisyn Quinn Grossman, and Ian Alexander Grossman all of College Park, Md.; father Wesley B. Gable of St. Joseph Mo.; sister Gail Stafford of Bryan; brothers David Bussell and Kenney Bussell of Springfield, Mo.; and mother-in-law and friend Jeannie Goetz of Bryan.
